App for cruising the French canals

When I cruise on the French canals and rivers, I sometimes have a hard time navigating VNF’s website to get current information about the stretch I’m going on.

Are all locks open? Is the water depth as it is supposed to?

Maybe you feel the same way?

Then VNF’s app for iPhone and Android will probably be something for you.

You can select which areas or rivers/canals you are interested in, and then you can get current information about water depths, closures, irregularities, etc. in a very easy way.

In the app, you can even get the information in English if you’re not strong in French.

The app is called “Navi VNF” and is available for Android and iPhone. There is plenty of good up-tp-date information about boating on the French waterways.
