Erik Aanderaa is a wild, Norwegian viking. He just finished a single-handed loop around the Norwegian Sea to the arctic island of Jan Mayen, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Shetlands and back to Norway.
But Erik is a also a popular YouTuber with the motto “No bullshit, just sailing”. His latest voyage is documented in three chapters of “Sailing around the Norwegian sea” on Youtube and has been seen by hundred thousands of people.
In a live webinar I was talking with Erik Aanderaa about single-handed sailing. How is he handling the long passages when he is alone? Is single-handed sailing an easier or more complicated approach at long distance cruising?
